The First Impression


Well hello, its been a while since I've blogged so I'm a little rusty. I thought I'd start off my new blog by formally introducing it and me. My name is DaQuasia but my alter-ego is Spice which is what I usually go by online. I am creating this blog to speak about relationships from the perspective of a young college girl who hasn't been in a "real" relationship in 4 years. I wanted to create this blog because I have called myself studying men for several years using tools like social networking, books, magazines, television, and just straight up bluntly asking men questions I want to know. I will be using this blog to discuss some of my dating experiences and ask questions. I will not be using this to give any type of advice..... why you ask; because I've been single for four years, I have been dating this whole time but have not seemed to get it right. I've been a lot of things in the past four years, the main chick, the side chick, the jump-off, the dreaded "best friend", and that one girl that he can never leave alone..... but girlfriend has not been one of them. So I thought I would share some of my experiences, give my opinion and views on certain things and ask questions. I am using this as another tool to learn and maybe to teach, give someone an opportunity to learn from my dumb ass mistakes. I hope you guys read and enjoy.

Since I've moved to Vegas I have fully embraced online dating. I am fairly new here (been here 10 months) and most of the people I meet out are tourist who are only looking for a quick nut on their wild Vegas vacation. Self-Esteem

This is a blog I wrote when I was 22 years old: This was a hectic year. I was dealing with one guy long distance who called me crazy for actually having feelings and one who was just using me but I was too blind to see it. I'm so glad that I now have that "This is me and fuck you if you dont like it" attitude I was wishing for before. I am so much more at peace now, but it was great to come across this and see the growth: I would say that 2011 has been a bit crazy for me. The most hectic was between April to.... now. Not to go into my whole life story, but trying to deal with school, work, family, and relationships can drive a girl to drink. The Reintroduction. After Homework Comes Bills

Well, it has been a long time since I have written a blog. Six years to be exact. I am now 28, and a lot of things have changed. I've lived in the DMV, Pittsburgh, and I am currently in Las Vegas, but my relationship status is still SINGLE . If I knew 6 years ago when I started this blog that I would still be single asking the SAME questions I would have off-ed myself. At 22 I knew I was young and dumb but I still thought by this age I'd have it figured out. Maybe even married? NOPE.
